Winter 2026

Drift

An object in motion stays in motion. But where to? The drift is everywhere around us. From bustling cities to the vast ocean, the movement we see is never truly uniform. No patterns to be found. It is in this drift that the originality of being is discovered. Between the lines of industrial rigidity, the artist reveals these findings. Can we allow ourselves to be vagrants of art with no key to guide us but the flicker of sunlight through winter-branches? This issue, a compilation of reflective and inquisitive pieces by Princeton students, peers into the drift.
